Hercules is an Understatement!

I just received my stand and it is better than I imagined. I play acoustic guitar electric bass and mandolin. I searched high and low for a stand that could handle all. This is the one. It is built like a tank. Extremely solid and sturdy. The auto grab system is awesome especially for the small neck and headstock of my mandolin. Set the instrument on the yoke and the weight of the instrument pulls the yoke down an inch and two levers flip up to trap the instrument in the yoke! Grab the instrument and lift ever so slightly and the levers flip down to release the instrument.



Next purchase will be a half dozen of the wall mount version to replace the wall mounts for my electric guitar collection.



Note I did not see this stand in person before buying but I looked over their web-site. Had I actually seen one I would have paid up to $100 for it. I think it is a steal at $60.More detail ...

Hercules stand are by far the best!!!

This is my second hercules stand. I have a double and a single. This stand locks your guitar neck at the nut simply by placing your instrument on the stand. Pressure of the instrument in the stand allows two arms to catch the neck. The stand releases the instrument when you pick it up off the stand. I cannot say enough good about this stand. Autolocking Guitar Hangers

Very nice product. My only concern is about the nut and bolt connection where the self locking fork meets the rod that mounts to the wall. It allows you to set an angle on the fork so you can hang your guitars close together like in the music store. The concern is that you cannot really lock it by tightening the nut and bolt. Over time it may loosen and move. NOT a big deal.



The locking mechanism was a very pleasant surprise. It was not explained very well on the web site and I found it to be much cooler than expected. I have never seen anything quite like it. I would have given this 5 stars but I figured I had to account for the nut and bolt.More detail ...

Great mount for guitar

This is a very secure way to store your guitar up out of the way and off the floor. Padded arms protect the guitar and the self closing tabs make it so the instrument will not slip off and also prevents my little ones from pulling it off the mount. Never tipsy. Fits Electric and Acoustic

Superb stand. Very well built. Buying a second one and also looking at an additional (and very cool) compact travel stand from Hercules. Heavily used my original Hercules about 2 years now. Drastic improvement over the cheezy/flimsy $8 stands you see every guitar at Guitarcenter sitting on. (I've owned a couple of those in the past and will never go back) This stand is rock solid stable on most any surface that is reasonably flat because it has a wider than usual spread to the legs so I never worry about my guitar falling over or OUT due to the autograb mechanism. It works flawlessly and has never put a mark on any of my guitars. BONUS is it fits acoustic as well as electic with a slick and quick neck height adjustment. No need for "electic only" or "acoustic only" stands as this is basically a free hanging stand holding the neck of guitar and the auto grabber holds any of my guitars perfectly. HIGHLY recommend.
